Diana Clare Rose (nee Blank) Deaton, 84, of Newport, KY passed away on April 22nd, 2022. She was the daughter of Nicholas J. and Marcella (nee Klein) Blank. She had worked at Fifth Third bank in many roles. Diana was a member of Corpus Christi Church, St. Anne Auxiliary and the Good Time bowling league. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Nicholas J. Blank III, Kenneth Blank and Phillip Blank, sister; Myra Bonita Blank and husbands; Jacque Groeschen and Charles Deaton. Diana is survived by her daughters; Christine (Allen) Theobald and Loraine (David) Neltner. Sons; Michael (Mary Ann) Groeschen and Colonel Daniel (Brenda) Groeschen. Brother; Barry (Helen) Blank. Along with 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 29th, 2022 at Holy Spirit Parish, 825 Washington St, Newport, KY 41071 from 5pm-6pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6pm. Graveside burial will take place on Saturday at 10am in St. Stephens Cemetery. Cooper Funeral Home is serving the family.
