Robert Dale Sansom, 79, of Cold Spring, KY, passed away on January 14th, 2022. He was the son of John Sansom and Dorothy Sansom. He was a Veteran who proudly served the United States Army during 2 tours in Vietnam. He retired from Newport Steel as a supervisor. He was also a member of the Newport Elks. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Brothers; John Sansom and Denny Sansom and one grandchild. He is survived by his daughter; Tammy Martini. Sons; Rodney Lawson and Tony Martini. Brother; Ron Sansom. Sisters; Erma Deslongchamps and Carol Miller. As well as 1 grandchild and 1 great grandchild. Visitation will be held at Cooper Funeral Home on Friday, January 21st, 2022 from 5-8pm. Service will begin at 8pm. Graveside Burial with full military honors will be on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022 at 10:30am at Alexandria Cemetery. Cooper Funeral Home is Serving the Family.

A Great Man who will be Missed Dearly but thought of with The Memories of so many Wonderful, Joyful Trips to the lake, Playing cards, Enjoying the Day at the River Laughing Our Asses off to your Many Funny Jokes
You are a Great Mentor to My son Dylan who Loves you so much and will Miss you so much as I also
Ron told me the time he was dropping Danielle off to you and she ran to you as hard as she could and you were tickled of her visit and met her with open arms and a huge smile on each other's face
I'm sure she is in Heaven with a Huge smile and open Arms as you are also
Rest in Peace Daddi-O and watch over us all
This Goodbye isn't forever but a Hard one to deal with until we meet a again

To Bob's family and Elks friends,
I am so sorry for your loss. Bob's was a friendly face at Bingo and I'll always have good memories of Bob and his smile. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

We're so sad to hear about Bob. He was a wonderful man and a very Patriotic American who loved and proudly served his country. Prayers for the family. He will be missed.
