Raymond W. Seiter, 92, of California, KY, slipped peacefully away at home on January 5, 2021, surrounded by his family. Ray was born on August 27, 1928, the eighth child of Joseph and Anna (Dittleberger) Seiter. Ray was a retired veteran of the Korean war. After 40 years of self- employment as a builder he did volunteer work at Sts. Peter and Paul Church where he was a lifelong member. He was also a member of the St. Peter’s 1492 C.O.F. and Sts. Peter and Paul Senior Club.
He was preceded in death by son Joseph (1958). He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Natalie (nee Grimm), and sons Randy (Nancy), Allan (Melinda), Melvin (Lynda), Gilbert (Shannon) and Roger (Michelle). Loving grandfather of Kelly (Joe) Buerkley, Kim (Adam) Sebastian, Keri Seiter, Johnny Seiter, Amber (Kevin) Carson, Jennifer Seiter, Matthew Seiter, Meghan (Aaron) Wellman, Lauren, Olivia, Maria, and Megan Seiter, and great grandchildren Kayla, Jenna, Abigail, Natalie, Maddie, Lynlee, Reagan, Owen, Chloe, Isaac and Sean.
Visitation is Friday, January 8, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home, 10759 Alexandria Pike, Alexandria, KY 41001. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday, January 9, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 2162 California Crossroads, California, KY 41007. Burial will immediately follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Alexandria, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sts. Peter and Paul School, 2160 California Crossroads, California, KY 41007, and / or Northern Kentucky Right To Life, 13037 Hutton Dr., Walton, KY 41094. Cooper Funeral Home is serving the family.
