I met Shirley very briefly and was struck by how strong she was despite her age at the time. She knew the Lord and my interactions with her wonderful sons highlighted how amazing a mother she must have been. Having lost a dear parent, I know how hard it is to say the right words to bring some comfort - but like the scriptures say, “we do not grieve like those who have no hope”, for “blessed are those who die in the Lord”. I pray the Comforter brings peace to those left behind, knowing she’ll be missed. With Love....

The family has come together to honor their Matriarch and to share with all their memories and remembrance of someone they will miss forever. As a brother-in-law I have had many interactions with Shirley and always found her loving and helpful. My hope is that she can now Rest In Peace from the everyday trials and tribulations of life, knowing that those she leaves behind have been blessed by her presence in their lives and that she will be sorely missed.
