Kelly Shawn McCormick, 65 of California, KY passed away on September 9th, 2023. He was the son of Orville and Elsie (Hofstetter) McCormick. He had retired from teaching at Campbell County Vocational School. Kelly was a Kentucky Colonel and was a member of the Eastern Campbell Fire Department. He enjoyed camping, hiking and fishing. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Orville Jr, Jimmy, David and Allan McCormick. Kelly is survived by his wife, Thela (nee Hauke) McCormick. Daughter, Kelly “Ryan” Bartunek (Michael) and son, Shawn McCormick (Brittany Knapp). Sister, Violet Haynes. Brother, Richard McCormick. Grandchildren, Brody, Callianne, Kobe and Colton. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Cooper Funeral Home is serving the family.
