Ruth Helen Walling, 84, of Florence, Kentucky, formerly of Bellevue, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 25, 2023, surrounded by her family. Born on June 27, 1938, in Cochranton, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Charles M. and Edna C. Schisler Hulley.

Ruth retired from Amity Unlimited after 40 years. She enjoyed bowling (in her younger years), playing bingo, and putting puzzles together. Her greatest accomplishment was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Ruth may have been small in stature, but her sassiness and quick-wittedness made up for it.

She is survived by her two children: Sherry Walling McMullen and David (Dori) Walling; 3 granddaughters: Jessica (Brandon) Winkle, Marie (Scott) Jones, and Maranda Walling; 3 great-grandchildren: Amelia Winkle, Jean-luc LeSueur, and Raelyn Jones; sister Doris Heller and brothers Raymond Hulley and Walter Hulley; along with a host of nieces and nephews and an incredibly special niece, Cathy. In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her husband Sheridan Walling, son Steven Hulley, sisters Elaine Hulley, and Evelyn Hulley, and brothers Donald Hulley, John Hulley, Dale Hulley, and Melvin Hulley.

Visitation will be held at Cooper Funeral Home on March 2nd, 2023, from 10 am – 12 pm, with services beginning at noon. A burial will immediately follow at the Alexandria Cemetery. Cooper Funeral Home is serving the family.
