Angelia Hensley,64, of Independence, passed away on February 22nd, 2023. She was the daughter of Jack Lewis, and Mary Lewis. She worked at the Children’s Home for 25 years as a cook there. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Pamela Lewis (Dennis Guess). She is survived by her husband William Gene Hensley. Daughters; Chelsea Hensley, and Morgan Hensley. Grandchildren Jaxyn Casey, Soraya Stevens, Syrus Stevens, and one more on the way. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 28th, 2023 at Cooper Funeral Home from 10am-12 noon. Service begins at noon. Burial will be immediately following at Peach Grove Cemetery. Cooper Funeral Home is serving the family.
