Roland Gene Bennett, 61 of Cold Spring KY passed away on January 16, 2023. He was the son of Donald and Dorothy Marie (Kinman) Bennett. Roland was a member of the NRA and the National Wildlife Turkey Federation. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Roscoe and Hazel Bennett, Father Don Bennett, Mother Dorothy Bennett, Uncle Roland D. Bennett and Aunt, Linda Bennett. Roland is survived by his Wife, Teresa M. Bennett, Son Roland G. (Karen)Bennett, Granddaughter; Ruby J. Bennett. Sister; Joann (Matthew) Eggemeier, Nephews; Thomas Bennett, Scott Gregory, Steven Gregory, niece, Susan McCallon and many other nieces and nephews. Step-brother; Kenneth “Boo” Tully. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 26th, 2023 at Cooper Funeral Home from 4pm-8pm. Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday January 27th, 2023 at 10am. Burial will follow in McClurgs Cemetery in Concord, KY. Cooper Funeral Home is serving the family

Even though I didn't know Roland very well, he made me feel as if I had known him my whole life. He was funny, and had a big laugh, kind hearted, and very comfortable to be around. I so enjoyed our visits together and I wish that we could have gotten an opportunity to visit Roland and his happy place. I will truly miss him. My heart goes out to you, Teresa and I pray that you will seek comfort from friends, family, and God.
